About the role:

We are looking for a Network Services Technician to join the Network Services Team. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage a diverse workload, whilst building relationships with customers and clients.

As a Network Services Technician, you will assist in the delivery of Network ISP/WAN projects and other networking elements within infrastructure projects. You will also work closely with the Provisioning and Project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience over time to ultimately be involved in all aspects of project delivery including pre-sales support for the Sales department and solution design, all whilst building customer relationships.

Communication with customers will take place over the phone and via email. Customer service is key to success in the role – living our values are woven through everything we do to guarantee that our service delivery is second to none.

What you will be doing:

  • Building router configurations to the provided specifications. Supporting the delivery of Network ISP/WAN projects. Assisting engineers and consultants with network projects. Working closely with customers to bring network solutions live. Collaborating with technical teams within Aspire to build a solution that meets the customers requirements. Attending customer sites and other Aspire office locations when required to assist with the delivery of projects. Delivering customer connectivity solutions alongside Provisioning and Project teams.

## You will suit the role if you have:

  • Demonstrable knowledge or experience in Technical Support, Service Desk and/ or IT roles. A good understanding of general IT technologies. Good communication and documentation skills. A willingness to learn new skills and expand knowledge. A valid UK driving license.

£22,000 to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements

You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office.

We offer hybrid working where possible to support work-life balance.

Hours of Work

Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
