The team…

The Systems and Development Team supports key business applications across Integrated Adults and Social Care Services and Children’s Social Care and Lifelong Learning. The team is responsible for managing, co-ordinating and developing case management systems and business applications; facilitating the implementation, development and support, of these systems to help improve service delivery.

About the role….

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team. We are looking for a Systems Development Analyst to support development and improvement of all system applications across Adults and Social Care Services and Children’s Social Care and Lifelong Learning.

Reporting to the Systems Applications Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with service leads and service managers to identify and understand system requirements and improvements by examining and analysing existing IT systems and business processes; ensuring delivery and ongoing development of these systems to meet current and future service needs and provide the best support for system users.

The successful candidate will have a Very high level of general IT skills; in particular, excellent knowledge of business applications, complex databases, reporting software and business intelligence tools. You will have the capability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and build effective relationships, to develop IT systems and processes. You should have GCSE English and Math’s Grade 9-5 or A–C, or equivalent and a higher education qualification in a subject with IT or relevant business analysis and process redesign, or significant relevant experience.

We have recently invested in a new case management system, this post is part of our longer-term investment to build a culture of innovation, drive forward change and improve the service and performance of Adults and Childrens Social Care.
