TechNExt Tech Talent Live, powered by Tech Talent Engine

As part of the TechNExt festival (17-21 June 2024), we are running a Talent Fair. This free, drop-in event will run 12.30 pm-5 pm and is for anyone keen to learn more about tech careers and employers in the North East.

The aim of this event is to inspire, motivate and inform the next generation of tech and digital talent, as well as showcase North East employers to anyone looking for a role in the sector. There will be a range of short talks throughout the afternoon highlighting our tech career families. There will also be drop-in CV workshops running throughout the afternoon.

Whether you’re a student, recent graduate, career changer or new to the tech sector, you’re welcome to come along to this free afternoon drop in event to find out more.

This event, part of the TechNExt festival programme is powered by Dynamo North East's Tech Talent Engine, funded by North of Tyne Combined Authority.

As part of our Good Festival Ambition, we are committed to minimising the impact of our events on the environment. We work closely with our clients, venues, suppliers and delegates to reduce the impact of our activity wherever possible. In year 1 the festival's carbon from curated events was 35 tCO2e and we decided, as an ethical offset, to donate the equivalent carbon credit value to a North East environmental charity, Groundwork North East & Cumbria for their nature-based solutions programme.

We plan to introduce more measures to reduce the impact this year, tracking the festival's carbon footprint once again, leading us to further reduce our impact and become carbon neutral in future years.
