Delivery Manager

What will you do?

The Delivery Manager is a key role within the Platform department in the Tech team at tombola. This role will provide critical support across our 8 product delivery teams, working to support them in removing cross team blockers to ensure efficient delivery across the wider team.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular communication and status updates to ensure that stakeholders are informed about project progress and any issues or changes.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact delivery of any new features or initiatives. Develop risk mitigation plans and strategies to address these challenges. Proactively manage and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices. Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that deliverables meet predefined criteria.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and requirements. Assess the impact of changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders. Ensure that changes are documented and implemented effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Make decisions to keep the project on track and within scope.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders and senior management. - Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and meeting minutes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project processes and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement. - Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure that the project adheres to relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Vendor and Third-Party Management: If applicable, manage relationships with external vendors or partners involved in project delivery.
  • Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the project's success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
