About the role

We are looking for a Security Solutions Consultant with strong communication and technical skills to join our Product and Solutions team.

As a Solutions Consultant you will work alongside our Sales team, helping to assess customers’ needs and challenges and will design tailored solutions using Aspire’s Security product portfolio.

Within the role, you will be required to attend customer meetings, perform customer demonstrations/presentations, carryout on site investigations and site surveys, provide technical content for RFP, RFI and ITT responses and prepare solutions.

Our ideal candidate would be an experienced Security Consultant, who is an instinctive problem solver and able to create solutions for the long term to resolve these problems for our customers.

Strong communication skills will help you to diagnose the customer’s challenges and business goals and present the solution to those in a clear concise manor to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Efficiency is also important to succeed, as you will be managing a diverse workload.

Customer service is key to success in the role – living our values are woven through everything we do to guarantee that our service delivery is second to none.

What you will be doing

  • Working with the Sales team to identify, qualify and prioritise customer opportunities and presales engagements.
  • Meeting with customers at both Aspire’s HQ and their sites.
  • Providing accurate handover information to the Sales and the Technical Delivery teams, inclusive of technical architecture documentation, bill of materials and a professional services breakdown.
  • Completing technical aspects in proposal documentation, RFIs, RFPs, ITTs and presentations.
  • Strategic Engagement with key Aspire accounts.

You will suit the role if you have

  • Subject matter expertise, ideally evidenced by professional certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of Perimeter Security (Firewalls, IDS, firewalls, IDS, IPS, UTM, WAF, Gateways, Proxys, Mail Servers), Cloud Security (IaaS, SaaS, Azure, Identity), Endpoint Security (MDM, EDR, EPP, AV).
  • Experience working with a Security Operation Centre, security incident response teams, or in roles with security forensics or malware analysis disciplines.
  • Understanding of SIEM, SOAR and log analysis platforms.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an IT service provider/re-seller environment

Salary

£35k - £50k per annum (dependent upon experience) + Bonus

Location and Working Arrangements

You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office with travel as required.

We offer hybrid working where possible to support work-life balance.

Hours of Work

Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
