What you will be involved in

  • Working in cross-functional teams with our clients, supporting the delivery of their initiatives. Contributing to design, development and the operations of internal applications. Communicating effectively, internally and externally. Promoting the TDS company values: Passion, Effectiveness, Transparency, Commitment. Advocating best practices in software development, including XP (TDD), agility, DevOps and CI/CD. Growing the company by contributing to our ongoing recruitment efforts. Being a curious technologist with an appetite to develop new skills. Mentoring TDS staff, growing their technical and consultancy skills. Actively participating in internal product and systems development.

Technical Requirements

In addition to the roles and responsibilities outlined above, a successful candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience working in a cloud technology environment, such as AWS, Azure or GCP, with experience building and operating applications within this space. A candidate will have worked with the following technologies:

  • Containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes and Helm An infrastructure as code tool, such as: Terraform, CloudFormation An Configuration as Code tool, such as : Ansible A DevOps-friendly programming language, such as Python, Golang or JavaScript (Node) An understanding of a cloud provider’s IAM architecture and its security implications A monitoring and logging stack, such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus Secrets Management tooling, such as Vault, AWS Secrets Manager Continuous Delivery pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity

Desired Skills

  • Performance Testing with tools such as JMeter/Gatling Previous experience working for a consultancy Experience in software testing across a range of industries Experience working in distributed teams Contract testing experience
