The role

As HTG’s next Business Development & Account Manager you will develop sales leads, close deals and cultivate lasting customer relationships with multiple revenue streams.

Your main duties & responsibilities:

Continually identifying and driving commercial opportunities by effectively generating and managing your personal sales pipeline, leverage relationships and processes to support e.g. account plans, planned visits. Raising the profile of HTG by attending relevant events, creating opportunities to present to prospects and effective networking. Fostering relationships with customers with the aim of becoming their go-to person within the sector and a trusted advisor and influencer. Maintaining the necessary CRM records in order to generate data-driven reports, insights and forecasts. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure you have what you need to communicate our offering to customers. Produce effective, timely documentation (bids/tenders/proposals) in consultation with technical resources. Maintaining your status as a subject matter expert via continued professional development and accreditation, attendance at industry events and monitoring market trends and developments. Acting as a role model for HTG and embodying our company values, both internally and externally.

You must have:

5+ years’ experience selling within the Microsoft M365, Modern Work and Azure space as a MSP/CSP. Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. Understanding of industry trends. A commitment to excellent customer service. Competency in the latest Microsoft applications.

You ideally have:

Experience running webinars. Experience of on prem infrastructure, VMware, Citrix and Security Solutions. Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM. Familiarity of MEDDIC sales methodology.

Commercially minded. A self-starter. A whizz at mental arithmetic! An exceptional communicator – both written and verbal. A gifted relationship builder, with a canny ability to build a rapport quickly. A good listener – able to understand individual needs and identify opportunities to recommend HTG’s products & services. Comfortable with a fast pace and rapid change. A sophisticated influencer. At ease presenting in front of large numbers, virtually and in-person. Trusted.

HTG is committed to finding the best person for this job. We are open to accepting applicants from anywhere in the UK. However, we would like the successful candidate to spend regular time with their colleagues at our HQ in the North East of England so this wouldn't be a fully remote position.
