This role is based in our Gateshead office. on the banks of the River Tyne. We operate a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.

The role

You'll be responsible for: Developing and overseeing all content outputs for SEO purposes, and other digital channels where required. Partnering internally to develop, introduce, and maintain agreed best practice approaches for content creation, with a focus on SEO. Ensuring that SEO best practices & cutting edge developments are integrated into all content production. Introducing and leading effective training and knowledge sharing that enable structured content creation capabilities across the agency. Enabling partner internal teams to deliver search-optimised content to drive the required performance results for clients. Managing and developing a team of content writers and editors. Aligning the client and agency for key campaigns where content strategy and SEO are key drivers of performance.

The person

Ideally you'll have: 3+ years’ experience in a senior content production / marketing role with a focus on SEO, ideally in an agency environment Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business, or related qualification CIM qualifications (desirable) Good working knowledge of content production processes and opportunities for a range of digital channels and web platforms, specially for achieving SEO objectives Demonstrable experience creating and guiding the creation of exceptional content for digital marketing solutions

And fantastic if you have: Proven success introducing new ways of working to improve the quality and consistency of digital content A strong desire to learn A flexible and adaptable approach to work A great attitude and willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team spirit A passion to train and share skills with other team members and departments
