We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all design solutions meet stringent security standards, drafting and reviewing designs, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security protocols and audit requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and security of our customers systems and processes as we they strive for SOC 2 certification.
Design Assurance: Ensure that all project designs adhere to the highest security standards. Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of designs to identify and address any potential security vulnerabilities. Drafting Designs: Create detailed and secure design drafts that meet project specifications and security requirements. Security Certifications: Utilise your expertise in security certifications (CISSP) to guide the design and implementation of secure systems. Design Review: Critically evaluate existing and proposed designs, identifying weaknesses and suggesting improvements to enhance security. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and technical teams, to ensure that security considerations are integrated into all project phases. Audit Engagements: Assist with audit engagements as we pursue SOC 2 certification, ensuring that all security documentation and processes are in place and compliant. Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation for all designs, reviews, and security processes. Ensure that all documentation is clear, detailed, and accessible for audit and compliance purposes. Project Involvement: Work on additional projects as needed, applying your security expertise to a variety of contexts and challenges. Location: Ability to travel to London at least once a month.
Security Certifications: CISSP or equivalent security certifications are required. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in security architecture and design. Technical Skills: Excellent understanding of security standards and protocols, with the ability to draft and critique design documents. Documentation: Strong documentation skills, with a focus on clarity, detail, and compliance. Audit Experience: Familiarity with SOC 2 and other audit processes, with the ability to engage effectively in audit engagements. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and ensuring alignment on security issues. Experience with cloud security and hybrid cloud environments. Experience with security tools and technologies used in design and architecture reviews.
