Service Delivery Manager

## Role Overview: As a Service Delivery Manager within Seriös Group, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple project teams to enable successful delivery across a variety of clients and technologies.

You will work closely with client stakeholders to build effective relationships and enable our delivery teams to deliver high-quality data platforms that meet the clients’ goals. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills to provide clear reporting and management of project risks to internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Service Delivery Director and will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects that will meet agreed financial targets and timescales. You will work alongside other Service Delivery Managers to carryout project planning and resource planning.

You will oversee project governance, ensuring that the project teams are adhering to the principles set out by the Service Delivery function and contribute to our continuous improvement ethos. You will ensure each delivery team is working effectively, are fully utilised and are delivering to the Agile principles.

The ideal candidate will also have a passion for project delivery, ideally in the data space, keeping up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies, whilst inspiring others in the team to continually improve.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties:

Scheduling Project and Client On-boarding and Off-boarding. End-to-end planning for new projects. Contribute to resource planning and identifying skills and people gaps. Ensure effective utilisation and progression of our people, in conjunction with the People function. Collaborate with the Product team and other delivery teams to ensure project requirements, timelines, and resourcing are all met. Lead on promotion of Agile delivery methods. Produce concise and insightful internal reports on delivery progress to provide the Service Delivery Director with the necessary information. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively address and escalate risks and issues to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Gain and maintain relevant certifications. Foster strong relationships and effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and addressed. Seek out opportunities for future work where appropriate to support stakeholders in achieving their overall business goals. Produce monthly plans, utilisation reports and delivery reports for external stakeholders. Management of Partnership Portals to manage backlogs and reporting progress. Oversee project governance, ensuring that the project teams are adhering to the principles set out by the business. Provide support to Service Delivery Director where required. Proactively promote best practice and inspire others to continually improve. Line management responsibilities. Ability to lead teams and provide guidance to team members. Ability to be self-motivated and have a proactive approach to work. Requirements:

Extensive prior experience as a Service Delivery Manager or similar role, leading Agile projects and teams to successful delivery. Strong expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Effective communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across various stakeholders. Experience with Agile project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps. Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with technical concepts and an understanding of software development processes. Previous line management experience. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms. Proficiency in using resource planning tools, or workforce management systems. Knowledge of project management methodologies and an understanding of project lifecycles. Proficiency in using data analysis tools, such as Excel or SQL, to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes. Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with industry trends and advancements

Desirable:

Hold Agile Certifications such as: APMG AgilePM, PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner, CSM Scrum Master. Experience working within the Data space including data warehousing, data platforms, data visualisation, data migrations, and data integrations. Awareness of technologies such as: Azure, AWS, GCP, DataBricks, Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau and PowerBI. Awareness of the software development cycle, including version control and code release.
