Easington Lane Community Access Point is an independent Community Hub operating from the Access Point on Brickgarth in Easington Lane. As a community led organisation ELCAP offers a range of services and activities in order to provide holistic solutions to the problems and challenges the community faces.

The position of Digital Transformation Coordinator for ELCAP will be a key element in the future development of ELCAP as it seeks to support and resource our local community including our residents.

This role is key to that future development of ELCAP through:

• Day-to-day management of the website, online shopping channels and social media channels exploring and experimenting with new uses of printed and digital media to best communicate with our stakeholders • Create engaging and compelling content for online and printed formats to support the collection, input and analysis of data to measure, evaluate and communicate the charity’s impact and successes.

Job Role includes:

  1. To manage ELCAP's digital channels, including online charity shop and eBay trading
  2. To develop and implement a comprehensive social media plan and calendar to engage supporters and maximise our online reach.
  3. Create engaging and compelling content for various social media platforms (including but not restricted to Facebook; X; LinkedIn; Instagram; TikTok; Youtube etc)
  4. Maintain information for publication on the ELCAP website which will include the development and posting of engaging copy, images and video content.
  5. Manage and maintain all social media accounts ensuring conistency amongst the branding; accuracy; tone and message of the content.
  6. Monitor, analyse and report on all social media and e-commerce traffic in order to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  7. To provide a full range of data analysis for ELCAP by managing and interrogating the UpShot portal.
  8. To gather relevant data and assist in the gathering of data through the creation of surveys
  9. To extract, format and present data securely and attractively in a range of relevant formats for ELCAP, its partners and funders to demonstrate outcomes and impact.
  10. To ensure data governance and information security is upheld and maintained.
  11. To assist in the development of data analysis capabilities within ELCAP.
  12. To assist with any other duties appropriate to the role.

You will be managed and supported by the Operations Manager and will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team.

Hybrid working is an option but actual details to be agreed as part of the offer.

ELCAP is a key community facility in Easington Lane and the wider area and is determined to maximise its potential in the services it offers and also the funding it attracts.
