About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager, with a passion for IT, to join our growing Product team.

As a Commercial Manager, you will support and coordinate commercial product development, strategic vendor management and pricing strategies. This pivotal role requires a balance of commercial acumen, diligence and strong negotiation capabilities to ensure Aspire maintains a competitive edge in the marketplace.

You will drive growth and profitability by aligning Aspire's business strategy with market opportunities and customer needs. Working closely with Product & Technology, Project Management Office (PMO), Finance, Sales and Solutions teams, you will ensure Aspire’s services remain competitive, high-quality, and aligned with our vision.

What you will be doing:

Support the development and commercialisation of Aspire’s key product offerings with competitive pricing strategies and identify and recommend areas for growth & commercial innovation. Strengthen strategic partnerships with Aspire's vendors to maximise lead generation, supplier pricing, and benefits through regular communication, joint initiatives, partner programs, and business reviews. Track and report on MDF (Market Development Funds) and rebate activities. Negotiate vendor pricing and contracts, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes. Review high-value won quotes for technical and commercial accuracy, ensuring valid costs, manageable risks, and alignment with profitability goals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency and ensure the standardisation of contracts and pricing structures.

You will suit the role if you have:

Proven experience in a similar role, with an understanding of the Managed Services Provider (MSP) industry. A strong commercial understanding, including financial principles, pricing strategies, and profitability drivers. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in building and managing strategic vendors and partnerships. Able to work in a fast-paced and agile commercial enterprise. An understanding of IT solutions within the wider market.

Salary

£35,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements

You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office with travel as required.

Hours of Work

Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
