User Researcher

User researchers collect, analyse and test data to design websites, software and applications based on user needs.

Their role may expand depending on organisation size but in general they'll be responsible for:

  • Planning and designing sessions for user research testing
  • Sourcing users to complete test sessions and carry out research
  • Understanding user motivations and needs as well as identifying any issues with a product or service
  • Working with product teams on new product designs
  • Help deesign and development teams to understand user behaviours
  • Present user insights to project stakeholders
