Product Managers as you’d expect focus on the full lifecycle of one specific product but need to demonstrate agile working across a range of technical and non-technical teams to balance user and business requirements for their product. They generally use agile working methods and are responsible for the strategic and financial priorities of a project.
Working in this role requires a high level of communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities well. A Product Manager need to maintain a user focussed approach to ensure product success while working within the operational restrictions of the business (such as budget and technical capacity).
